Caroline Wheaton Dinsmore is the founder of The Dinsmore Group. Caroline and her team consistently rank as one of the leading realtors on the San Francisco Peninsula each and every year since 2012 per RealTrends.
Most recently, Caroline was honored to have been recognized as one of the Top 25 Realtors in the Bay Area per The San Francisco Business Times based on 2021 sales volume, as well as The Leading 100 Realtors per Luxe SF which encompasses all agents from the Carmel Valley through the Wine Country.
With a combined 30+ years of experience, The Dinsmore Group has sold hundreds of homes. Our team is passionate about dedicating our extensive expertise and unparalleled customer service to each client, each transaction, and every detail.

Caroline’s roots run deep in California. A fifth generation California native, Caroline was born and raised in Burlingame. She is a proud, direct descendant of one of the first California pioneers and one of the founding fathers of American baseball, William Rufus Wheaton.
After earning her BA degree with honors in History at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Caroline moved to Europe and taught English in Spain for several years. Upon returning Stateside, she entered the Silicon Valley tech industry for 10 years, working initially at Oracle and later at Webex during the dot-com boom and bust.
This experience gave her a solid foundation to hone her business acumen and develop the necessary skills which have helped her build a thriving real estate team in the competitive Silicon Valley real estate market. Caroline also very successfully navigated the muddied waters of the 2008-2012 Financial Crisis and learned valuable lessons in real estate that undoubtedly helps her to serve her clients well in the complex Silicon Valley real estate market.

As a third-generation Realtor®, Danielle is passionately following in her family’s footsteps. The Shapiro name has been known around the real estate industry since Danielle’s grandfather’s career in the 1960s.
Born into a real estate family, Danielle’s personable approach and deep market knowledge are in her DNA. As a lifelong resident of the Peninsula, Danielle utilizes her micro-market knowledge to guide our clients through the buying and selling process like a pro.
As a University of Arizona Alum, with a degree in Communications and minors in film and management, Danielle’s unique background enables her to personalize the experience for each individual client.
Applying the Dinsmore Group’s best of breed technology, extensive experience and market savvy to every transaction, Danielle always goes above and beyond. She is a fierce advocate for her clients earning their confidence each and every time as their trusted real estate advisor.

Shelby, a San Francisco Peninsula native, began her real estate career on the majestic, tropical isle of Oahu, where she practiced residential real estate for seven years. She continues to hold her Hawaii state license while currently working to attain CA state licensure. She skillfully negotiated successful transactions for both sellers and buyers. While in Hawaii, Shelby achieved the Certified Residential Specialist designation, was recognized as a Top Producer and was presented with the Core Values Award by her colleagues. Shelby was consistently nominated by her clients year after year for the Aloha ‘Aina Award, which recognizes agents who go above and beyond to provide excellent service to their clients.

Prior to joining The Dinsmore Group, Kate climbed the corporate ladder at Mason McDuffie Real Estate. She developed a passion for helping Realtors with the technical aspects of their transactions and acquired elite-level skills. Along with her talent and knowledge, Kate brings an acute attention to detail, ability to identify and solve problems, and a sense of customer service which makes her an invaluable asset to our team and, thus, our clients.
As the dedicated Marketing Analyst for The Dinsmore Group, Rob’s focus is on precise workflow management. He provides the foundation for The Dinsmore Group’s acclaimed customer service. He supports the team so that we can support our clients. Rob also coordinates the Dinsmore Group’s social media presence. His strategic insights and graphic design skills help to amplify our brand and vision through our digital presence, our website and more.
